Do you or any of your readers like this challenge? I working with Terminal Server with a lot of users that installed Microsoft Teams. I looking for remover script to uninstall Microsoft teams from all location that needed. I think you will need to take a look a PowerShell to remove all the files. Are you sure? I too have the same issue with installs to programdata. Is there any group policy settings that one can set on the domain level for teams? After reading your comment I wondered exactly the same.

We have not found a better way for this. We have had this complaint since it was released. It is per user profile install and configuration. Unfortunately that’s the way Teams is designed at the moment. I’ve seen plenty of requests for Microsoft to change that, but it took them this long just to make an MSI installer available, so I wouldn’t hold my breath on that change coming any time soon.

This is just how the installer is configured. Looks like there is a machine level installer they’ve made, and with a bit of updating ourselves, this looks like the answer until MS sort it out properly.
